Spark of Awareness

In this module 1/4, recruits learn the basics of how fire starts, how weather affects fire behavior, and why awareness is the first step to staying safe. By understanding the world around them, new Guardians begin building the skills they’ll use throughout their training. After you have watched the video and completed all activities, please proceed to the next module.

1. Spark Scout Learners discover the basics of fire behavior and safety through hands-on activities and mascot-guided challenges.

2. Flame Keeper Students explore home fire safety, hazard spotting, and prevention strategies to protect their families and spaces.

3. Fire Pathfinder Participants develop outdoor awareness, weather observation skills, and team leadership for fire-wise decision-making.
